What does ProsToGo offer to freelancers?
ProsToGo offers the opportunity to secure freelance projects in the text-services field, which includes writing, editing, proofreading, and similar types of work. ProsToGo is essentially a directory service, providing two directories for the benefit of freelancers: the Projects Directory and the Freelancers Directory. The Projects Directory contains a listing of projects that have been submitted by clients seeking assistance, while the Freelancers Directory displays information on freelancers available to accept projects. These two directories allow you to actively pursue work by directly contacting clients about the projects they have posted in the Projects Directory and by receiving inquiries through the Freelancers Directory from clients who need assistance with their projects.
What is the cost for this service?
The ProsToGo service costs $20 per month, and members can pay for as little as one month at a time. A single payment can be made to pay for one or multiple months if desired, with payments for a full year of membership receiving a discount of $20 (buy 12 months, pay for 11). In addition, you may choose to sign up for a payment subscription that will automatically charge $20 per month to your credit card. Many members find this to be a convenient option as there is no need to go through the monthly payment process, and there is no risk of their membership expiring because they forgot to make a payment. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time by the member.
Are there any additional fees, like a percentage of my client's payment?No, there are no additional fees charged by ProsToGo. The only payment you will need to make to us is the monthly membership payment of $20, as described above.

Are the freelancers listed on this site employed by ProsToGo?
No - the freelancers listed on ProsToGo are independent contractors and are not employed by ProsToGo. Each freelancer is responsible for his or her own work, and ProsToGo bears no legal or financial obligation related to their services.
The preferred method of payment is by credit card, debit card, or check online through PayPal. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are all accepted. We also accept payments by check or money order through standard mail.
No - you may pay for as little as one month at a time.
I'm sorry, but we do not offer free trial memberships. This would be unfair to paying members as it would place them in competition for projects with individuals who had not paid for the right to directly contact or be contacted by clients. In addition, it would be difficult to prevent individuals from creating one free trial account after another, thereby obtaining ongoing membership without paying for the service. ProsToGo has been priced with a very low monthly membership fee and no minimum-term contract, making it a low-risk investment to try for a single month.
ProsToGo offers full visibility of the services available to our paying members. The public version of the Projects Directory is exactly the same as the private version, with the limitation that it does not contain actual client contact information. This allows you to see exactly the same projects and options that you will be able to use after your payment has been made. Regarding the Freelancers Directory, you may view current member listings in the public area of the site to see how your listing will work. In addition, you may create your account, enter all of your information, and preview it prior to making a payment.
No, membership months begin as soon as your payment has been received and posted to your account. This normally occurs within a few hours of your payment being made through PayPal.

In addition, you will be able to enter the information needed to create your Freelancers Directory listing and then preview it, prior to making a payment.
How can I obtain freelance help through ProsToGo?
As a client, you have two options for seeking freelancers to work with you on your project. The easiest way to reach all of the freelancers on ProsToGo is to enter your project information for inclusion in the Projects Directory, which can be done by clicking here. Once your project has been reviewed and approved, it will be available to all paying members of the site for up to two weeks. The other option is to examine individual listings in the Freelancers Directory and use the contact links to e-mail individual freelancers. This directory contains areas of specialization to assist you in your search.
While there is no charge to list your project in the Projects Directory or contact freelancers through the Freelancers Directory, the freelancer you select to handle your project will expect to receive payment for his or her work. Payment amount and arrangements should be agreed upon before work is begun on your project.
I will gladly remove your project once I receive your request to do so. Please click here to send me an e-mail, and please be sure to include your name and project number so that I can locate and remove the project. All projects are automatically removed from the site either on their due date or after two weeks of inclusion in the Projects Directory, whichever comes first.
